What was a simple idea to celebrate Samantha's daughter's 12th birthday in 2006, is now a realised dream for a positive activity for the girls of today.
Samantha's daughter and her girlfriends were looking for an alternative way to get together rather than going off to the movies or having your everyday sleepover. As they loved being pampered, as all girls do, my daughter and I came up with Butterfly Wings.
Pampering the butterfly within; learning to grow your wings, celebrating a girl's journey into womanhood and having some awesome fun along the way.

Samantha is an accredited remedial massage therapist with the Australian Traditional Medicine Society.

Samantha offers her personal mobile service outside of the Butterfly Wings service. All 1 hour mobile bookings for the above treatments are $65.00 per hour.
Samantha's background is in Dance with qualifications in modern, tap, ballroom and latin (ATD) and (FATD).
As a natural therapist for several years and also a mother of a teenage girl, Samantha started to see a lot of issues with this age group - both within her clinic and from a personal viewpoint. Young females developing stress related illnesses and dis-ease. She also continued to see the effects on her own daughter from school pressure, social and emotional pressure from outside the home such as bullying, peer pressure, and also family breakdowns within the home.
The effects from media marketing is an assult on girls in this age group, carefully tapping their vulnerabilities as to attractiveness and belonging. There is an erosion of self image by the corporatemedia sector and the creation of anxiety about physical appearance in pre-teen and teen girls.
 Our passion now is to help bring about some much needed change and education. To service this young generation in assisting them to journey forward into adulthood with a more balanced, healthy and positive outlook on life. Guiding and supporting girls to take responsibility for their own self care and wellbeing in making awesome choices for their future.
